Thomson Reuters announced a new industry initiative, the Trust in AI Alliance, aimed at shaping practical principles and engineering approaches for trustworthy “agentic” AI systems.

In its press release, the company said founding participants include technical and product leaders from Anthropic, AWS, Google Cloud and OpenAI, working alongside Thomson Reuters Labs.
The group’s agenda centers on turning broad responsible-AI goals into concrete methods—such as approaches to reliability, interpretability and verification—particularly for professional, high-stakes use cases.
